NPL: Sharks, Dolphins Not Fully Ready
As the 2012 Nigeria Premier League season gets set for its second round of matches, there are indications that Rivers State clubsides, Sharks and Dolphins are not fully ready for the season.
Apart from Dolphins, which can be said to have a hazy picture of what their squad list would look like following the reported signing of 10 new players and dropping of some old players, Sharks FC is yet to know who their new players are.
According to camp sources, players were still trooping in and out of the club seeking to be engaged while influential individuals try to get their wards into the team.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Media Officer of Sharks FC, Confidence idaa said that he could not be specific on the club’s new signings.
He however said that, former Rangers and Enyimba midfilder, Sam Ledor has joined the Blue Angels.
He also said that Kola Anubi, Juwon Oshaniwa and Okiemue Odah, who were part of Stephen Keshi’s home based Eagles and injured Ousmane Sane have all returned to the club.
He said that the players were doing well in training and blending very fast with the new players.
