NLC Set To Work With Justice Belgore’s Committee

The president, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar, has stated that the organised labour will work with the Justice Belgore’s committee to find solution to the fuel subsidy removal.

According to the NLC President, the issue of the pricing is what will be the outcome of the Justice Belgore committee, adding that the organised labour will work with the committee especially in the area of palliatives to cushion hardship on Nigerians.

He said Labour agrees to dialogue with the Federal Government Committee to find solution to stabilise the economy and other issues that underline the whole issue of deregulation and fuel subsidy.

Comrade Omar said Labour was going to analyse the issues involved and envisaged to work with the committee towards coming up with permanent solutions regarding the issues of deregulation.

The NLC leader emphasised that the organised labour will always explore meaningful avenues of dialogue to protect the interest of Nigerians in the face of any untoward policies of government.
