Lagos Junior League Impresses Disu
The Technical Director of Lagos Junior League, Tunde Disu says the competition was formed to harness grassroots talents for stardom at the global stage.
Disu told newsmen in Lagos that the league had been able to develop a viable platform for budding talents to strut their stuff.
“ The league has been quite fulfilling and we have been identifying and grooming talents for the country’s football industry.
“We constantly monitor potential talents and keep track of their day to day progress in the league and their development in the game as a whole,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, Chibuzor Eze one of the upcoming talents in the junior league, told newsmen that he was pleased with his performance in the competition and would not relent in his effort.
“ I am delighted to be part of this league, and I am proud to say that I am improving by the day and will not relent in my efforts,’’ he said.
Eze lauded the organisers of the league for the innovation, which he said had engendered the spirit of participation and entertainment for the populace.
The league which was on break, was billed to resume hostilities this week at the different venues across the city.
