Four In Court For Stealing

Four accused persons have been arraigned before a Port Harcourt Magistrate Court Presided over by Magistrate E.S. Nyesom Wike.

The accused persons, Sunday Okorie 31, Bright Monday 18, Andrew Oguru 27 and Emmanuel Osodor 18 were arraigned on a two court charge of conspiracy and stealing.

The Police Prosecution told the court the accused persons on that December 10, 2011 at about 5.00pm around No. 2 Fimie Road did conspire among themselves to commit felony to wits burglary and stealing.

He explained that the offence commited by the accused persons are punishable under section 516A of the criminal code cap 37 vol. 11 laws of rivers state of Nigeria 1999.

The presiding Magistrate, E.S. Nyesom Wike granted the accused persons bail with the sum of N20,000 each. The accused persons are to produce One Surety each, who are to produce two passport photographs and show evidence of means.

The case was later adjourned to January 18, 2012 for further hearing.
