Cleric Lists Path To National Unity

A renowned cleric, Rev Dr. Mossy Madugba has appealed to Nigerians to reason beyond ethnic and religious sentiments to sustain the unity of the country as an indivisible political entity.

Dr. Madugba made the appeal as a guest speaker at a three-day Prayer-quake Conference organised at the Alfred Diette Spiff Sports Complex, Port Harcourt.

Speaking on the theme; “Power of Righteousness”, Madugba who was one of the conference speakers urged Nigerians to be ready to make sacrifices towards the continuous survival of the nation.

He called on political and religious leaders in the country to be responsive to the moral obligation by addressing the challenge of insecurity in the country for the interest of all Nigerians.

The fiery preacher emphasised that Nigeria was richly endowed with human and natural resources and divinely protected against disasters like Earthquakes and Tsunanus”.

He cautioned Nigerian leaders against self induced pitfalls from political and religious intolerance, and called on all Nigerians to pray for the President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to enable him succeed in his development agenda for the nation adding that “Nigeria was at a critical stage of its national life and needed the collective prayers of all to succeed as a nation”.
