Eze Ekwueme observed that Rumuji community parades an array of seasoned administrators and academics who are well qualified to drive the administration’s development policies and urged the governor to take them on as they contributed to success of the Peoples Democratic Party in the area.

He used the opportunity to laud the governor’s immense development projects particularly in the health and education sectors, saying that Rivers State has never had it better.

Eze Ekwueme also commended the Emolga chairman, Hon. Allen Nna for appointing two sons of the community to positions of trust as well as his grassroots development efforts especially in the areas of sports. According to him, within the chairman’s six  months in office he had made history in his soccer fiesta which has turned out to be a unifying factor in the local government area.

He then prayed for the continued protection of the paramount ruler HRH Ohna Nyechor Ikpokanwa and advised the chiefs to avoid sentiments in their leadership roles, but to love one another. He also appealed to the youths of the community to shun evil and engage in meaningful activities for a better tomorrow.
