The Tide 40th Anniversary Peaks, Today

A lecture titled, “State Media, the Way Forward”, will be delivered today by former President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, INPR, Senibo Sofiri Bobo Brown, as part of activities marking the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation.

The celebration which opened Wednesday with a Workers Parliament continued yesterday with a visit to the Cheshire Home, Port Harcourt by the Management of the Corporation.

The lecture and an awards/ gala night would form the grand finale of the celebration during which distinguished Rivers sons and daughters would be honoured for their various contributions to the development of the state.

The Rivers State Newspaper Corporation established in 1971 is the publisher of The Tide Group of Newspapers.
