Princewill Commends The Tide @ 40
The leader of the Princewill Political Association (PPA), a political group of Rivers State, Prince Tonye Princewill has joined other Rivers in 2011 to congratulate The Management of the Rivers State Newspapers Corporations on its 40th anniversary of the publication of The Tide Newspapers.
Princewill in a letter addressed to the General Manager of the state Newspaper noted that the paper has been out standing voice in the dissemination and propagation of the ideas and activity of the Rivers State government and her people.
He noted that the immense contributions to the entire populace and nation at large are commendable, and pleaded that the management and staff should not relent until such a time the Tide is read all over the nation.
According to him, it is remarkable that your course in the last 40 years have exhibited your unique style reportage, packaging and information genre, educational and entertaining approach to the media and a very positive feed back on the development of the society.”
“I must commend most immensely Mr Celestine Ogolo who in his usual style of ensuring results in all his endeavours. His managerial skills has turn the paper to its presents enviable standard where it has been a reference newspaper to other states owned Newspapers,” he said. The PPA Leader who is currently in south Africa after his visit to the former United Kingdom Prince Minister, Mr Tony Blair is seeking end mobilizing Interested investors that will come and invest in Rivers State.
