Book On Hooliganism In Soccer For Launch Today

All is now set for the launching of a book titled Hooliganism, Violence and Security in Soccer at Genesis Restaurant in Port Harcourt today.

The book is authored by a sports analyst, Onaja James Abutu.

According to the programme of the launching released in Port Harcourt and made available to The Tidesports, the former Special  Adviser on Youths and Sports in Rivers State who is also the Managing Director of Ibekiri Oil, Dr Chihor M. Nwogu is expected to chair the occasion while former Minister of Education, State who is also National President, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Dr Jerry Agada is to be the Special Guest of Honour.

The release further stated that the MD/CEO of Steve Integrated Technology Service Ltd, Engineer Ayiyi A. S. would be the Chief Launcher while the leader of Tiv Community, South-South, Chief Ben Akaakar, National President Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Saidu Abubakar and former Chairman, Rivers State Football Association, Engineer Amadi Kingsley are guests of honour.

The Deputy News Editor of Rhythm Port Harcourt, Ruskin Amadi would be the book reviewer while Sports Writers Association (SWAN) Rivers State would be the chief host.

It also appealed to sports loving individuals and corporate organisations to attend the event.
