UNIPORT Alumni Promise More Programmes

The new executives of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association, Rivers State chapter, has promised to reposition the association for the effective contributions to the society and the university.

The newly elected president of the Association, Engr. Ngerebara S. Adumu who said this shortly after the election of the new executives said that the association would initiate programmes that will reduce the challenges being faced by graduates of the institution as well as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas.

The new president urged all graduates from the university to join the Association and also promised to run on open door policy.

Thos elected are, Engr. Ngerebara S. Adumu president, Gabriel Akanibo Ukarrosuo Gloria, first vice  president, Obaro Osaro, second vice president and Deacon Ule Williams, assistant secretary.

The rest are, Umuma Dick Ezikwa, provost, Dama Warizeribe, treasurer, Iyekor Ikporo financial secretary, Akubom Sonny Tubotamuno, publicity secretary, while Professors Ozo – Mekuri Ndimele and E.S. Umor Omagile emerged as Ex-Officio 1 and 11 respectively.
