Omuma Chairman Nominates Supervisors, Special Advisers
The Executive Chairman of Omuma Local Government Council, Hon John Anucha, has submitted list of supervisors and special Advisers to the Legislative Assembly for confirmation.
The names of supervisors to be are Mr Godwin Onwukwe, Ejike Nkwocha, Leo Anyanwu, and Ethel Opurum while Henry Nwuju, Henry Onyensor, Chinasa Onyezonwu, Clement Ukaluor and Mr Nwogu are for special advisers.
Moving a motion for the adoption of the list of supervisors and special advisers on the floor of the House, the Chief Whip of the Legislative Assembly, Hon Godson Chima Ubani urged the House to adopt the list.
The leader of Omuma Legislative Assembly Chinwendu Nwekeala thanked members for adopting the list.
Nwekeala explained that for the executive arm to function effectively, supervisors and special advisers must be properly constituted and stressed that the present Legislative Assembly is determined to make a difference in Omuma and that the cleared nominees will make the executive arm a full house and functional.
The Legislative Assembly has fixed Thursday November 10 and Friday, 11 2011 as screening dates and advised the affected persons to appear at the legislative chambers by 10am each day with their relevant documents, including three years tax clearance, voters card and party membership card.
