Volume, Value Crash To End Week’s Trading
The volume and value of traded equities at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) crashed to end the week’s transaction.
The volume of shares went down by 6,914,157,365 shares to close at 280,179,824 shares as against 7,194,337,189 shares traded by investors on Thursday.
Also, the volume of traded equities crashed by N13.4 billion to close at N1.9billion as against N15.3 billion traded on Thursday.
Meanwhile, All share Index went up by 275.79 points or 1.4 per cent, to close at 20,903.16 points compared to 20,607. 37 points traded on Thursday.
Market capitalisation close at N6.6 trillion as against N6.5 trillion traded on Thursday.
Redstarex led the gainers chart after making 11 kobo gain per share while Longman lost 22 Kobo per share to lead the losers table.
Banking shares was the most patronised, with 181,222,475,worth N74.7 million which exchanged hands in 2, 085 deals.
