Police Parade Kidnappers, Car Thieves In Yenagoa

Three persons suspected to be kidnappers and pirates were on Wednesday paraded before journalists in Yenagoa by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Aliyu Musa.

Also paraded were two other car snatchers whom the police alleged were among other criminally minded group that collected a Honda Accord Car (End of Discussion) at a gun point and while acting on a tip off, his men swung into action and the vehicle was recovered at Igbogene and one of  the suspects arrested.

Mr Aliyu also disclosed that on 11th the September, at Akaibiri Village in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state another group of suspects Bunas Samuel Michael and Sakafemolt Oyinpreye were nabbed with two vehicles, three AK 47 rifles with 107 rounds of 7.63mm prohibited ammunitions.

According to him the suspects are believed to to kidnappers and pirates whom unwholesome movement was reported to members of the JTf, who arrested and handed them over. Meanwhile Raphel and Oweifa Peremo were apprehended for question as to know their veracity of involvement in the case

The Police boss, however, said members of the public would be informed on the developments on the case, saying that those found to be innocent will be released as full investigations have begun.
