Officers and Men of the 2 Mechanised Division of the Nigerian Army, Ojoo, Ibadan, yesterday embarked on a prayer session for divine intervention against terrorism.

Speaking at the forum held at the All Souls Church, Army Cantonment, Ven. Moses Abolanle solicited God’s intervention to unravel those behind the acts of terrorism in some parts of the country.

Abolanle, in his sermon, prayed God to deal decisively with all the aggressors.

“The battle against the noticeable acts of terrorism in the nation is not ours, but God.  What we need to do is to rise up stoutly in fervent prayers of the righteous and call on God to fight our battle. It is time for spiritual battle against the aggressors. We need divine protection in the nation and the Lord will definitely fight our battle and grant us victory over all our enemies,’’ he said.

The cleric enjoined the congregation to be more prayerful saying:“ Whenever you face problems or persecution, prayer is the answer. Prayer is the master key to all problems.’’

Abolanle urged the congregation not to entertain any fear once they had chosen God as their divine protector.
