PHALGA Lawmakers Undergo Legislative Training

The Leader of Port Harcourt Legislative Assembly, Hon. Kingsley Owhonda Amadi, has commended the Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government for sponsoring the training of councillors from the local government area on legislative business in Calabar.

Speaking during the 10th legislative sitting of the Councillors in Port Harcourt, Hon. Amadi, thanked the Mayor for investing in human development and preparing them for the task ahead.

He announced that a mock session would be held in honour of Late Hon. Loveday Ikechi Wobo who was a councillor in Port Harcourt from 1999-2003 representing ward three.

In another development, Hon. Okechukwu Kalagbor, councillor representing Ward Eight, has appealed to the house leadership to expedite action on the issuance of identity cards to members and also the report on the committee on parks and markets in the area.
