Monarch Warns Against Violence In Babbe

The new Gbenemene of Babbe Kingdom in the Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, HRM King Naabor Doobeh Nnah, has warned mischief makers to keep off the area as his reign will not tolerate any acts of violence.

King Nnah who said this in an interview with newsmen shortly after his installation last weekend at Luawii also stressed the need for youths in the kingdom to desist from being used to destabilise their communities.

The monarch who succeeded late King Mark Saro Igbara also promised to liaise with the Rivers State Government with a view to providing employment opportunities to youths in the kingdom.

Speaking during the coronation ceremony, the king maker, Mr Kpugubana Namah said that the new Babbe monarch has satisfied all the traditional requirements as far as the kingdom was concerned.

Mr Kpugubana said that the new Gbenemene was not only the choice of the people, but also that of the deities.

Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Donatus Igwe of Usomini clan in the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area urged the people of Babbe Kingdom to give full support  to their new monarch
