They expressed hope that the commissioner would perform satisfactorily to both the government and Etche people.

According to them, the failure of Okey Amadi will be tantamount to betrayal, while pleading with Governor Amaechi to consider more Etche people in other positions of trust.

They are of the view that the commissioner’s appointment is a testimony of proven integrity, saying that the present administration is concerned about the welfare of the Etche people.

Relatively, the group applauded Governor Amaechi for the appointment of Hon. Alwell Onyeso as Chairman, Rivers State Post Primary Schools Board.

The Neighbour-To-Neighbour group, noted that Onyeso’s appointment is a mere indication that Amaechi is a friend of the Etches.

It also urged the medium to pledge its support to the state governor and Hons Amadi and Onyeso, adding that their leadership styles have so far placed the area in an enviable position in the state.

Meanwhile, they have called on Rivers people to support Amaechi to actualise his good dreams and visions for the state by shunning acts of lawlessness.
