Enyimba FC Beat Coton Sport, Secures Semi-Final Ticketa

Enyimba International Football Club of Aba has secured one of the semi-final tickets at the Orange CAF Champions League, as they beat Coton Sport 2-0, at Enyimba township stadium, Aba, yesterday.

Ifeanyi Ede, converted as spot kick at 45th minute, s Enyimba player was brought down in the eighteen yard look to give the host the lead.

On resumption, the Coton Sport keeper was sent-off at the 85th minute after he backed two yellow cards.

The second stanza of the game which was played under heavy down pour saw Enyimba’s Valentine Nwabili score at the 86th minute through a free kick that beat the opponent’s wall.

With this Victory Enyimba tops group A with 14 points, without loss. To play Wydad Casablanca in Semi-final.
