Etche PDP Hails Commissioner’s Appointment

The newly appointed Rivers State Commissioner for Energy and Natural Resources, Hon Okey Amadi, has been described  as a worthy ambassador of Etche people.

The Peoples  Democratic Party (PDP) in Afara,  Etche Local Government  Area, in a statement signed by Hon Amadi Ignitius Emeka and Comrade  Victor Nweke, Chairman and Secretary   respectively, in Ward One, applauded the appointment of the Commissioner into the State Executive Council by Governor Amaechi.

According to them, by virtue of the  appointment, Hon Amadi has assumed the position of political  leadership of Etche  people, noting that the Ward believes that the commissioner’s antecedents speak volume of his ability to take Etche people to the next level of socio-political and economic development.

They commended the state governor for recognising Hon Amadi’s  capabilities, adding that, the Etches are  proud of the commissioner’s contributions to the state.

The Afara PDP urged the commissioner to keep the flag flying and, like Ceaser’s wife, live above board, saying that the elevation heralds a new beginning in the annal of Etche’s political history.

The party prayed God to continue to bless and reward the new commissioner as he serves humanity, especially Rivers people, with diligence and fear of God.
