No Poland Move For Ehiosun

Reports of Ekigho Ehiosun’s move to Poland have been dismissed by both the player’s agent and his club chairman.

Instead, a move to Turkey appears to be more likely for the 22 year old, with Karabukspor in pole position.

Reports on Wednesday claimed that the red-hot striker was due to move to Legia Warsaw in a deal worth around 1 million euros, but that was quickly shot down by Amaju Pinnick, chairman of Warri Wolves.

“Those stories are unfounded,” Pinnick stated. “I have not discussed anything with anybody about Ekigho’s transfer.

“Everything is in the hands of his agent Emmanuel Omijeh. From what we know, the concrete offer on the table is a loan move to Turkey.”

Omijeh named the club as Karabukspor.

“They want him on a one year loan move, but nothing is decided yet and we have asked them to wait until after the All Africa Games qualifier against Ghana.

“We need him to be focused for that game. After that, we can discuss further,” Omijeh said.
