I’ll Be Back Soon, Says Martins
Rubin Kazan forward Obafemi Martins has said he will be back on he field in about a month, after undergoing stress fracture surgery in London.
The Nigeria striker is presently in Lagos where he is recuperating indoors as the heavy rains have kept him on lock down.
“I hope to be back soon, say in a month and bit”, martins said early in the week.
“I miss football because it is my life”.
The diminutive speedy forward spent the last six months on loan at Birmingham in the English Premier League where he scored the winning goal for he now relegated side in their League Cup victory over Arsenal.
He has three years left on his contract with the Russian side.
