Dolphins Babayaro Eyes League, Cup Triumphs

Dolphins’ midfielder, Victor Babayaro has said that the League and Cup double is a must for the club.

Babayaro who joined Dolphins in 2005 has already won two FA Cup trophies as well as the National Division One League trophy and he believes that he still has more to offer to fans of Dolphins.

“We will get the League title and the Cup because we can’t come this far and end the season empty handed,”  the tough tackling midfielder said.

“Our fans should expect nothing less than the two trophies and we also need their support to do that.

“If they give us their full support, we will certainly bring both trophies back,” he said.

Babayaro added that his confidence stems from the fact that Dolphins have put forward a very good team this season and are good for the double.

“When I say the team is good, I am not only talking about the players. The coaches too must be commended for putting together a team like this. Then again there is the constant competition for places in the team that has made us to always give our best.”

He described the two road losses to Lobi Stars and Kano Pillars as a temporary set back and remained optimistic that they will return to winning ways.
