Charles Akwu Goes Home
The Rumu Akwu and Elenwo Esanwo Royal Families all of Rumuowo Ogbakiri in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, have announced the untimely demise of their son, Apostle Charles Nyeoganukoma budikne Woha-Ahia Akwu.
A family statement signed by Budnuka C. Akwu said that Late Woha-Ahia Akwu was aged 54, and died after a brief illness at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH).
A burial statement also released by the family said that the body of the deceased would leave UPTH to his residence at No18 Adaozu Unity Close, Eliozu and would be received by chiefs and elders of Rumu Akwu and Eleanwo families as well as Rumuowo community and would thereafter lie in state for open air funeral service before interment by 1pm.
The deceased is survived by a wife, a son, four daughters and other relations too numerous to mention.
He had before his death, worked in MAMSER, Daewoo before joining politics
