Bloody Day For Edo Team
It was a bloody day for Edo State yesterday while contesting at the Dambe traditional sports against participant from Team Rivers.
The action-packed contest ended bloody when the Rivers athlete punched the Edo contestant on the head in the male 55kg-65kg category.
The fight ended with Rivers qualification into the next round. In the same 55kg-65kg, Ogun defeated Kano, and Bauchi defeated Lagos while Katsina knocked out Borno and Kaduna defeated Jigawa while Kebbi knocked out Plateau.
