The state’s teams, both male and female have qualified for the finals and are set to contest the gold medal’s match with Ondo and Delta States.
While the male team confronts Ondo State, the females will tackle their Delta State’s counterparts in the final matches.
According to coach Asaah, the teams prepared very well for the festival and are in good stead to win the male, female and mixed titles.
“I am going to win three gold medals far Rivers State. I can assure you that, I have won six gold from six festival so far, and this would not be an exception.
Through out the competition, the lowest we played was 3 – 0 win, but I am happy that we qualified for final games both the male and female teams,” he said.
He attributed the team’s qualification to herdwork and commitment to the game.
“Ww are determined to show that we prepared adequately and now set to crown it all with the ultimate medals in today’s final matches,” said the coach.
