Ogu Okays Amaechi’s Victory
The General Overseer of the Abundant Life Evangel Mission, ALEM, Apostle Eugene Ogu, has described the re-election of Governor Chibuike Amaechi in Rivers State at the last governorship polls as a mark of gratitude from Rivers people.
Apostle Ogu, who spoke with The Tide in an interview said Governor Amaechi’s outstanding performance in the state cleared his path to overwhelming victory.
He hinted that Amaechi’s victory at the poll to pilot the affairs of the state for another four years, was a vote for service delivery in all sectors of the economy in the state.
Apostle Ogu also stated that “Governor Amaechi’s soaring popularity caught across the barriers of politics as his competence in governance earned him the acceptance of all spheres of the society”.
According to the renowned clergy, Amaechi’s bold and practical approach to leadership was the needed pre-requisite to put in place, lasting change and development in the state.
The clergy also called on the people of Rivers State to give the governor maximum cooperation to enable him consolidate on the massive development in the state.
