LG Boss Urges Dedication To Duty

The Chairman Caretaker Committee of Ahoada East Local Government Council, Mr. Sunny Edema has advised his newly appointed Committee members to put in their best in serving the people.

Mr. Edema made the remark while swearing-in members of the Caretaker Committee, at the Local Government Council, Ahoada.

The Caretaker Chairman urged the Council staff to be punctual to duty always and called on the people of Ahoada East to co-operate with his administration in order to move the area forward; assuring that transparency will be his watch word.

He congratulated the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for his victory at the polls.

Also speaking, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Gibson Jacob, reiterated the co-operation and support of all staff to the new administration.

The swearing-in of the members was performed by the Chief Magistrate of Ahoada Magisterial District, Mr. Ipalibo Iyabo Esq.

Those sworn in and portfolios assigned are Mrs. Sara Ezebalike Supervisor for Agriculture, Mrs. Peace Ideozu for Women Affairs, Mr. Moses Adamu for Information, Evang. Ezekwem Allen for Education, Mr. Okpara Okezie for Works, and Mr. Easter Orisa Supervisor for Transport ..

Responding on behalf of his colleagues, a member of the CTC, Mr. Okpara Okezie assured the Council .Chairmen, the staff and the people of the Area of their co-operation and loyalty in order to move Ahoada East Local Government to greater height.

In another development

the Caretaker committee chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Council, Mr. Dawaye Dagogo Jack has taken over the affairs of government from the former chairman of the Council, Mr. Paul Awoyesuku and promised to consolidate on them and also promised not to disappoint the people of Akuku-Toru.

Mr. Jack called on the members of the Caretaker Committee to give him the needed cooperation to enable them serve the people better.

A member of the committee, Mr. Kingsley Jack, responding on behalf of the members, assured the Chairman of their cooperation and support for him to succeed.

The members of the Caretaker Committee are: Mr. Dawaye Dagogo Jack, Chairman, Mr. Wenike Peter, Nicolas Ikiriko, Kingsley Jack, Presilia Don Pedo, Samabo Graham-Douglas and Anthonia Dan as members.

A senior Registrar from the Degema Magisterial District, Mr. Brothers Zephaniah administered the oath of office on the members.
