Isoko Indigenes Drum Support For Sylva
As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) work towards organising a free and fair governorship Election in Bayelsa next year, the Isokos in Bayelsa have called on the Urhobos to support Chief Timipre Sylva in the April 2012 election.
In a statement signed by the president of Isoko Republican Assembly (IRA) Prince Emmanuel Ogba said their support for Sylva became necessary because of the visionary leadership qualities of the Chief Sylva administration for the three years.
Ogba in the statement said the governors prudent management of resources and road construction in Yenagoa and other rural communities.
He listed other achievement of the Governor as, the Opolo modern hospital and his detribalised nature of governance had endeared cared him to them.
Ogba noted that Sylva provided vehicles to boost transportation through the Bayelsa State transport scheme known as Bayelsa Stimulus Scheme (B.S.S) improvement of the sanitary condition of the state the regular supply of power, and regular payment of workers salaries.
