Chairmanship Aspirant Promises Qualitative Education

A chairmanship aspirant in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Silas Iruene, has promised to give youths qualitative education if given the mandate.

Speaking to newsmen at his home in Ogu, Mr. Iruene said as a former youth leader, he knows the problems of the people better stressing, that with good education and motivation the youths would turn the society to a better place.

According to him, during his tenure as youth leader in the area, 172 persons got employment, Government Secondary School Ogu Laboratory block was built by Mobil Nig Unlimited as well as a building at Technical College, Ele-Ogu and Sand- field electrification, stressing that his vision had been to turn the area to an enviable society.

He assured that peace and development would also be given priority to ensure rapid growth of the local government.

The aspirant, who is also a teacher said with better education for the youths who are the future leaders of tomorrow, Ogu/Bolo would move forward, soliciting for their support.

Mr. Iruene said as a God fearing man endowed with visionary leadership qualities, he would carry all along inorder to give the area a facelift, and maintained that the people of Ogu/Bolo are strong supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party.
