The former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Ken Chikere says, the Supreme Court cannot reversed itself on its recent judgement on the 86 oil wells which it gave back to Rivers State.
He has therefore advised the Akwa-Ibom State Government to seek a sound legal advice before taking further step to challenge the judgement.
Mr Chikere who said this while speaking with The Tide shortly after a meeting with the Peoples Democratic Party ward III youths in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, said that the Akwa-Ibom State Government ought to know the Supreme Court judgement cannot be reversed.
According to him, the 86 oil wells given to the state by the Supreme Court will bring in more money to the state for both infrastructural and human development.
Meanwhile, Mr Chikere has said that the people of Port Harcourt constituency I and indeed the entire Rivers State will never play opposition during the forthcoming dispensation.
The former attorney-general who is contesting for the federal House of Representatives Port Harcourt constituency I under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party said that Rivers State must continue to remain in the ruling party.
“Our people cannot play opposition, if they play opposition, they will be outside, while decisions are being taken inside.
That is what the opposition suffers , he said.
Speaking at the meetin held at Chief Chinwo’s palace Ogbunabali, the media officer of PDP core supporters network PHALGA Prince Williams Chinwo said that the ward III youths have vowed to support the party in all the elections.
