Firm Announces New Patnership, Technical Service

The  authorised  distributors of the Kia brand of automobile in Nigeria, Dana Motors Limited, has announced a new partnership with Affordable  Cars Limited to provide sales, after sales and technical  services to Kia customers.

Speaking on the partnership on Monday in Lagos, the Managing Director, Dana Motors Limited, Mr. Jacky Hattiramani, said “This joint venture with Affordable Cars is an important step for Dana Motors Limited and Kia in our expansion plans for Lagos and the Nigerian market. Finding the right partners  to work with in satisfying  our customers is very vital to us. We are excited  at working  with the experienced team  that  Affordable Cars are bringing to us and are confident that Kia  owners  will be the ultimate beneficiaries of this  relationship. This indeed is another  opportunity for Dana Motors to expand its solutions portfolio  for the benefit of its valuable customers”.  

Mr. Hathiramani disclosed that Dana Motors and Affordable Cars will be  offering Kia owners arrange of value added service that include  “the 90 minutes  service’ where customers can drive in and have their cars serviced and delivered to them in 90 minutes.

He announced  that a member of Affordable  Cars  technicians  recently  completed  an intensive  training programme at the Kia training school along Apapa Oshodi Expressway in Lagos. Hathiramani disclosed  that  the month-long  training, conducted by  Dana Motors was aimed at upgrading technicians with Kia global  standards and also teach them how to handle the Kia Diagnostics tools and other special tools that they will be using in the new Affordable cars’ kia service centre.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr Abiola Ayemi, Managing Director, Affordable Cars Limited, said, “our relationship with Dana Motors Limited is in furtherance of our corporate mission, to provide customers with quality vehicles and services at affordable prices. Just like Dana Motors, we constantly seek ways to exceed  our customers expectations and we believe  this partnership will give us the opportunity to do just that”.

He revealed that the new Affordable Cars/Kia  services centre will start operations with a capacity to handle 20 cars per day and will further expand its facilities to accommodate up to 40 cars per day in the next 6 months.

In its continuous effort to make its  services readily available  to customers, Dana Motors Limited has increased  the number of its service centres in Nigeria to 18  and granted  dealership to local companies  while also running a mobile “on Road Assistance Programme” in Lagos.
