Panel Submits Report On Ogoli’s Death

The Ad-hoc medical panel inaugurated by the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of Ocean Boys FC defender, Emmanuel Ogoli during a Premier League match involving his club and Niger Tornadoes of Minna in Yenagoa on December 12, 2010 has submitted its report.

Der. Abdulkadir Muazu, chairman of the committee said while presenting the report to the NFF President at the NFF Secretariat, Abuja last week, that the committee did its work diligently and with every sense of responsibility, and has made recommendations that will enable the country to avoid such unfortunate incident in the future.

Responding, Alhaji Maigari thanked the committee members for the way and manner they took the national assignment and promised that the NFF Executive Committee will take a serious look at the recommendations with a view to implementing them.

Members of the committee are Dr. Akin Amao, Dr. ken Anugweje, Dr. Muhammad Sani Isah and dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi, Senior Sports Officer of the NFF, Mr. Christian Emeruwa served as the secretary.
