Guber Candidate Alleges Plot To Disrupt Elections
Senetor Julius Ucha, the ANPP governorship candidate in Ebonyi in the April election, has accused the PDP of plotting to disrupt the election in the state.
Ucha said he had petitioned President Goodluck Jonathan, the Inspector General of Police, Mr Hafiz Ringim and the Director General of the SSS over the incident.
Briefing journalists on Wednesday in Abakaliki, Ucha said the petition was meant to alert the nation and draw the president’s attention to intervene in the matter.
“I am using this opportunity to appeal to Mr President, the inspector general of police and the director general of SSS to intervene and stop the political thuggery and violence in Ebonyi.
“This will help to save our much cherished democracy. In the same vein, I am calling on the Attahiru J ega, to investigate the high rate of thuggery in the state,” he said.
