2011:Kpakol Canvasses Support For Jonathan
The National Cordinator of National Poverty Alleviation Programme, NAPEP, Dr Magnus Kpakol, has urged Nigerians to keep faith with the democratic process, and support the development programme of President Goodluck Jonathan as the future of the country’s democracy is promising.
Dr Kpakol made the call at his country home in Gokana Local Government Area while participating in the voters registration exercise.
Dr Kpakol expressed satisfaction over the level of turn up for the exercise in the area, and expressed optimism that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would deliver free, fair and credible election in the country.
The NAPEP Coordinator said he came to his community to register as a mark of patriotism and love for his community.
Commenting on the hitches experienced at the earlier stage of the exercise, Kpakor described them as rough road to building a credible democratic system and called for collective responsibility of al Nigerians to make the democratic process successful.
The NAPEP boss, also applauded the developmental objective of President Goodluck. Jonathan, stating that, the president was committed in economic revolution of Nigeria.
He called on all eligible Nigerians to drop their political aparthy and participate effectively in the electoral process “so that they can decide their political future through the ballot boxes”.
