Rivers Angels Vow To Sustain Top Form
The Rivers State Women Football team, Rivers Angels FC has promised to sustain their impressive performance in the 2010/2011 league season.
Coach of the team, Whyte Ogbondah, while speaking with Tidesports earlier in the week said that the club which has resumed training since November 2010 for the second phase of the season is now ready to put smiles on the faces of Rivers people.
“We have resumed training since November and now that the league games are about to commence, I can say that we are poised to do the state proud,” he declared.
Meanwhile, the 2010/2011 league season has resumed but the teams were still waiting for the second round fixtures to be released.
Also, the 2009/2010, super six playoff is yet to be played as clubs await Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on a new date.
