3SC Management Happy With Amao

The Chairman, Board of 3SC FC of Ibadan, Joseph Ladipo, has said that the club has trust in the abilities of Fatai Amao, the head coach.

Ladipo said on telephone last week in Lagos that it was still too early to judge the team’s performance in the 11-week-old league.

The Chairman fondly known as “Jossy Lad” by his admirers in his playing days, stressed that consistency and hard work would be the team’s hallmark in the ongoing season.

“Amao is an experienced hand in coaching business and we have implicit trust in his abilities.

“The team is getting better by the day and our players are gradually hitting their stride through their consistent performance,” he said.

The one time coach of the Super Falcons was also full of praise for the encouraging role played by supporters in purchasing the club’s newly launched jerseys.

“On match days, the sight of our supporters adorning our jerseys was reminiscent of the atmosphere in the English Premier League (EPL).”

The chairman also stated that the Oyo State Government had lived up to expectations by meeting the financial needs of the club.
