Swift Networks Launches 49 Broadband Services, Soon
Swift Networks Limited, a leading provider of wireless broadband services, has said that plans are in top gear to launch its 49 broadband services after three months of successful rigorous testing of its 49 WIMAX broadband network.
The Chief Operating Officer, Swift Networks Limited, Mr. Chuma Okoye, said the 49 broadband when launched would allow subscribers to use the internet at the fastest speed of advanced wireless broadband technology whether in the office or at home within the coverage area.
Okoye said the company’s network is currently covering inhabited areas of over 10 million people with further expansion also in progress.
According to him “the company is offering access to the internet at a fast and reliable speed. With higher speed access, Nigerian businesses and consumers will be productive and competitive as they are able to do more everyday at 49 speeds. They will also be able to share the same 49 connection, make and receive clear voice calls at affordable prices without the compliance of casted networking”.
Okoye said the company would deliver its 49 service under the brand name ‘Swift 49 Broadband’, which he said would reflect the fastest wireless broadband service allowed by today’s technology.
Also speaking, the Assistant General manager, Sales and marketing of the company, Mr. Phillip Sonibare said the services provided by the 49 broadband would cover a broad spectrum of user needs aimed at meeting any business and or lifestyle requirement for very fast and consistently reliable broadband speed with a world-class customer service.
“With Swift 49, Companies can now use one reliable broadband connection to support the needs of staff and depending on the size of the building, create a Wifi cloud sufficient for users without the need of an external router. Infact, we encourage them to bring along their 3G and EVDO moderns to compare with ours and experience the difference”, he said.
