Sports Festival Gets New Marketer

The 17th  National Sports Festival (NSF) tagged “Garden City Games 2010” billed to hold in Port Harcourt come February 2011 now has a new marketing consultant, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has announced.

Addressing the Press on Wednesday, Chairman of the LOC and Vice Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee (MOC), Engr. Tele Ikuru, disclosed that the new consultant is Ventolite Marketing International Limited, Lagos.

Engr. Ikuru, who is also the state Deputy Governor, represented by Secretary of the LOC, Mr. Bestman Nwokah, said Ventolite won the bid after a rigorous bidding process.

The LOC Chairman said the committee decided to re-award the marketing consultancy due to the inability of the former marketers to perform to the satisfaction of the committee and the public, stressing that the marketing firm has the capacity to adequately market the festival, assuring that preparations for the event is still in full gear.
