RSG Probes B-Dere, K-Dere Crisis
The Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has approved the setting up of a 6-man Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the inter-communal conflicts between B-Dere and K-Dere communities in Gokana Local Government Area of the state.
The commission which is to be inaugurated on Tuesday, 28th December, 2010 at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt at 10.00am, has Hon Justice B. A. Georgewill as Chairman.
Other members of the commission are Mrs Inime Aguma, Ven (Dr) Prince Igwebuke Orafu and Barrister Opuada Willie-Pepple.
A Principal State Counsel in the State Ministry of Justice, Mr Frank Onyiri Esq. is to serve as the Counsel to the Commission, while Mr Belema Mangibo would serve as Secretary to the Commission.
