NNPC Assures On Availability Of Petroleum Products

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has reassured Nigerianz of adequate supply of premium motor spirits, diesel and kerosene that will last throughout the yuletide and beyond.

A statement issued by the Group General Manager (Public Affairs), Dr Levi Ajuonuma assured motorists and holiday makers of a smooth celebration devoid of petroleum product scarcity, noting that the era of petroleum product scarcity was now a thing of the past.

He said NNPC has well over 40 days sufficiency of petroleum products that will last through the Christmas celebration and beyond.

“The corporation as a socially responsible organisation will work round the clock all  through the festive season to ensure that Nigerians and indeed motorists enjoy their yuletide without any hitch,” he said.

The NNPC image maker added that despite recent attack on oil pipelines by vandals which led to the closure of all refineries in the country, the corporation was partnering security agencies to stem the tide, adding that the NNPC more than ever before was on top of the situation and would ensure regular supply of petroleum products to the people.

He advised Nigerians not to engage in panic-buying with the fear that there might be scarcity as the corporation has taken drastic measures to check what ever that could cause scarcity.
