More groups have continued to queue behind the current member of House of Representatives for Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Igo Aguma, who is seeking a return to the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly.

Mr Frank Kazeem, said in Port Harcourt, stated that since 2003, when Aguma first went to the House of Representation, he has remained one of the leading lights in the Lower Chamber, where his views are well respected.

Kazeem that he has been monitoring proceedings at the House of Reps since 1999 stressing that the National Assembly and Nigeria have a lot to gain when legislators who have performed well are given the opportunity to help shape legislative business and direction.

“If he (Aguma) is given the opportunity  to return to the House of Reps, the people of his constituency. State and the Niger Delta would be better for it. He will be a ranking member of the House and that would go a long way in helping to shape what comes to the state”, he said.

Mr. Alejo said they are waiting for PDP delegates to give their mandate to Aguma before unfolding more strategies on how they would massively ensure he wins the general elections.

They called on PDP delegates to shun sentiments and vote for those  who have proven beyond doubts that they have what it takes to represent the state and the region at the highest levels.
