Association Vows To Sanction Erring Members

Industrial Gas Dealers Association, Rivers State chapter, has threatened to deal with members who flout the association rules.

The chairman of the Association, Mr. Patron Umukoro who gave the wardning during the Association’s End of Year party, reassured that the body will no longer tolerate indiscipline and insubordination among members.

He further charged members to always avoid an action that would damage the image and reputation of the association.

He condemns the action of some members who semec company reported to have stolen gas from the company.

In an interview with The Tide shortly after the party, said the union is facing some challenges mostly from litigation issued by Airliqued Nigeria Limited over some misunderstanding with members.

He commended Mr.  Umukaro’s led administration for strengthening the association, adding that the chairman has moved the association to a greater height.

According to him, the challenges include limited numbers of refilling plant in Rivers State, limited fund, among others.

He also added that lack of steady light in Rivers State has increased the cost of product which is affecting the business of her members.
