Adamu Meets EFCC, Parliament
Suspended International Football Federation (FIFA) Executive Committee member, Amos Adamu on Wednesday appeared before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja.
Sources say Adamu was questioned, not about the recent cash for votes sting which led to his three-year suspension by the world football governing body, but about matters relating to the 2003 All Africa Games finances.
At the end of the session, Adamu was allowed to leave the Commission’s office.
Adamu, who arrived in the country last week, also appeared before Nigeria’s Parliament on Tuesday where he explained his side of the story.
