2011: MD Wants Rivers People To Support Amaechi
Chief Chris Ogamba a company Managing Director, has called on the people of Rivers State to give Governor Chubuike Rotimi Amaechi a chance to run for a second term in office to consolidate his developmental strides in the state.
Chief Ogamba who bared his mind while speaking with The Tide in Port Harcourt, explained that Governor Amaechi’s vision and mission for the state had manifested in all facets of the people’s lives in, healthcare, education, good road network, electricity, among others, insisting that the governor had used the available resources of the state to put smiles on the faces of Rivers person including at the grassroots.
He said the governor’s plan to make the state a mega city was a move that every right thinking person should support, saying that such a dream could only be achieved if given a second chance.
According to him, with the security arrangement on ground, city life had come to stay. Before now, he said, there was no peace, adding that the present administration could be likened to the administration of old Rivers State led by Chief Alfred Diete –Spiff, which he said was also service-oriented.
“He has Rivers State and indeed the people dear to his heart and if the people love him and development, they should vote massively for him to complete the on-going numerous projects.
He urged the electorate to vote for Amaechi who had brought dividends of democracy to the door steps of the citizenry in the state.
