Works Commissioner Seeks Reps Seat

Rivers State Commissioner for Works, Hon. Dakuku Adolphus Peterside, has declared his intention to gun for a seat in the House of Representatives to represent  Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency.

Peterside who declared his intention during a meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wards and local government area executives said he was inspired to contest for the position not just for the sake of it but due to his desire to offer quality service and representation to the people of Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro federal constituency.

According to him, my desire is to give the people a strong voice at the highest level of government and to fight and attract amenities and dividends of democracy to the people and communities.

The Commissioner pledged to become the bridge between Andoni, Opobo, Nkoro and Abuja in attracting federal presence in the area if given the mandate.

He said his greatest challenge in politics was to serve and leave an enduring and proud legacy for his children and generations yet unborn.

Peterside claimed to have sufficient goodwill to carry on but warned the electorate to be wary of those aspirants who would come to them with money.

Meanwhile, the aspirant has inaugurated his campaign organisation, “Choice for Change Campaign Organisation.”  The campaign organisation is headed by a coordinator, Hon. Sampson Egop, while Hon. Sam Sam Etetegwung, a former member of Rivers State House of Assembly is the Deputy Coordinator. Other coordinators include Mr. Opuada Opusunju, Opobo, Emmanuel Taribo, Nkoro, Emmanuel Inyonwinye is the Administrative Secretary, while the Liaison Officer is Mr. Loveday M. Jaja.
