NESREA DG Bags Quality Management Award

Dr Ngeri Benebo, the Director-General, National Environmental Standards and Regulations and Enforcement Agency (NESREA), has bagged the prestigious award of Quality Management Standards.

  This was contained in a statement issued by Mr Sule Oyofo, the Press Secretary to the agency and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Thursday.

  The statement said the award was presented to Benebo in Abuja by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III.

The Oba is the Chairman of the National Economic Development awards.

“Benebo bagged the award for her brilliance and astute management of human and material resources and in recognition of her excellent contributions to sustainable environmental development in Nigeria,’’ it said.

According to the statement, Mr Emeka Onwuka, the Managing Director, Diamond Bank, Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo also received the award.

Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state, Globacom boss, Mr Mike Adenuga and the CBN Governor, Mr Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, were other recipients of the award.
