Madam Celina Assor For burial, Friday
The remains of Late Madam Celina Assor would be interred at her country home Omucheta at Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State on Friday.
In a statement signed and made available to The Tide by her first son and Chief mourner, Hon Christian Asoh, a service of songs for his late mother would be held at her husbands compound by the Christ Apostolic Church.
Her body would be moved from the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital to Omucheta village for a commendation service and would be followed with her interment.
A special thanksgiving service in her honour would be held on Sunday 10 October at Christ Apostolic Church, Omucheta.
The late Octogenerian is survived by nine children and numerous grand children among whom is Mrs Juliet Obiageri Koroye (Nee Asoh), a top journalist with African Independent Television (AIT) in Port Harcourt.
