… As Royal Father Warns Youths
Nigerians , particularly the youths, have been urged not to allow themselves to be used as instrument of destruction by corrupt and unpatriotic politicians who have nothing to offer to unleash mayhem on the community during the forthcoming 2011 general elections.
The Igwe of Ukana in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, His Royal Highness, Tagbo Ubaka , who made the call while speaking to newsmen in Enugu , send the youths rather than allowing themselves to be used for dirty jobs should see themselves as agents of progress and development with a view to supporting President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, to move the country forward.
According to him, the future of this country belongs to the youths, which he described as leaders of tomorrow, adding that they should not engage in any act capable of marring their future and that of generations yet unborn.
Recalling that President Jonathan has promised Nigerians free and fair election come 2011 , Igwe Ubaka urged all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion or political party affiliations, to assist him realize his set goals in the overall interest of the country.
“ I am only hoping and praying that the 2011 general election becomes the best ever held in black Africa, so that we have a good team to lead this country”, he said.
