Rohmanz’s ‘Waiting For Love’ Debuts in Port Harcourt
Music lovers in Rivers State are in for a good time come this October 1st 2010 as music maker “Rohmanz” debuts with his new album titled “Waiting for Love” deliberately timed to concide with Nigeria’s golden jubilee celebrations.
In a chat with The Tide Entertainment Desk in Port Harcourt recently, the up coming music star, Mr. Henry Ogbanga, known in the entertainment circle as “Rohmanz” explained that he has been away in far away Lagos since February 2009 to enable him put his acts together in order not to disappoint his fans in the garden city.
Ogbanga, who hails from Amadi Ama in the Port Harcourt City local government area of the state said that he intends to partner with the Rivers State government at the forth coming carnival in order to help show- case the tourism potentials of the state.
His latest album which contains the hit track ‘strick close’ which has left listeners spellbound as to where he was coming from as the artist said his brand of music despite being the hip hop and R and B genre was derived from inspiration from late music icons of the likes of Bob Nesta Marley, Peter Tosh and Michael Jackson among others.
The Sailor turned musician used the chat in appealing to youths in the state in particular and Niger Delta in general to use their God given talents positively instead of looking up to “politicians and oil money for their survival.
While expressing optimism for the success of his October 1st outing, Ogbanga appealed for sponsorship from corporate and individual organizations even as he commended D’ Chi dos Int’L limited for gracefully marketing and promoting his music.
