NSE: Market Remains Static

At the end of trading on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), last Friday, market indicators remained static.

Specifically, market closed at 24,846.64 points, with market capitalisation closing at N6.1 trillion.

Investors traded a total of 440,548,242 shares worth N2 billion in 5,544 deals.

The volume and value of traded equities remained the same with Thursday’s transactions.

The gainers chart lined up NBC, NB, Zenith Bank and Skye Bank which opened and closed at N31.5, N32.75, N64.8, N65.46, N12.5, N12.99 and N6.99, N7.25 respectively gaining N1.25, N0.66, N0.49 and N0.26, respectively.

However, the losers chart has OANDO, AP and CCNN which opened and closed at N72, N70, N34, N32.9 and N17.05 respectively.

In the top 10 by volume, cap oil traded 200,000,000 shares, valued at N100 million in one deal to drive the market.

Chams followed after trading 4,401,517 shares, valued at N2.3 million which exchanged hands in 26 deals.
